By accessing or using Refi.me ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

Description of service

Refi.me is a marketing and technology platform that provides mortgage-related calculators and connects consumers with licensed, independent mortgage professionals. We are not a lender, mortgage broker, bank, or financial advisor. We do not originate, fund, or service mortgage loans, and we do not provide mortgage, financial, tax, or legal advice.

Calculator estimates

The calculators on our website provide estimates for educational and informational purposes only. They do not constitute a loan offer, pre-qualification, pre-approval, or commitment to lend. Actual rates, payments, and terms will vary based on your complete financial profile, the lender's underwriting criteria, and current market conditions. All calculations are based on the information you provide and publicly available rate averages; they may not reflect rates available to you.

Broker matching

When you submit your contact information, we match you with one independent, licensed mortgage professional from our network. We do not guarantee the quality, accuracy, or suitability of any broker's advice, rates, or loan products. The relationship between you and your matched broker is independent of Refi.me. All lending decisions, rates, and terms are determined solely by the broker and their lending partners.

No guarantee

We do not guarantee that you will receive a loan, that you will qualify for any particular rate or terms, or that refinancing or purchasing a home will result in savings. Individual results vary based on credit profile, income, property value, market conditions, and other factors.

Broker compensation

Brokers in our network compensate Refi.me for consumer introductions. This compensation does not affect the rates or terms offered to you by the broker or their lending partners.

Your responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information when using our calculators and contact forms. You represent that you are at least 18 years of age and legally able to enter into agreements. You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the Service.

Communications consent

By submitting your contact information through our forms, you expressly consent to receive calls, text messages, and emails from the mortgage broker matched to your request. Communications may be delivered using automated telephone dialing systems or pre-recorded messages. This consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. You may revoke consent at any time by replying STOP to any text message, clicking unsubscribe in any email, or notifying your broker directly. Standard message and data rates may apply.

Intellectual property

All content, design, code, and trademarks on Refi.me are the property of Refi.me and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on this site without our written permission.

Limitation of liability

Refi.me is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Refi.me shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Service or any broker introduction made through the Service.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Refi.me, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
