Refi.me ("we," "us," "our") is a marketing and technology platform that connects consumers with licensed, independent mortgage professionals. We are not a lender, mortgage broker, or financial advisor.

When you use our calculator, we collect the mortgage details you enter (home value, loan balance, interest rate, remaining term, credit score range). When you submit our contact form, we collect your first name, phone number, email address, and property zip code. We also collect standard analytics data such as device type, browser, pages visited, and interactions with our calculator through Google Analytics.

How we use your information

Your contact information is used solely to match you with one licensed, independent mortgage broker in our network. Your calculator data is shared with your matched broker to help them understand your situation before reaching out. We use analytics data to improve our website and understand how visitors use our tools.

Who we share your information with

Your personal information is shared only with the one broker matched to your request. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with multiple lenders, lead aggregators, or any other third parties. We use Google Analytics for website analytics — Google may process anonymized usage data per their own privacy policy.

How we make money

Our service is free for consumers. Brokers in our network compensate us for introductions. This does not affect the rates or terms your broker offers you.

Communications

By submitting the contact form, you consent to receive calls, text messages, and emails from your matched broker regarding your mortgage inquiry. Communications may be sent using automated dialing technology. You may opt out of communications at any time by replying STOP to any text message, clicking unsubscribe in any email, or telling your broker directly. Standard message and data rates may apply.

Data security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure form processing. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Data retention

We retain your contact information and calculator data for as long as necessary to fulfill your broker match request, and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information.
